From Lunas_Goody_Bag:
First, I want to give credit for this stitch to user Thieb13 from the scoubidou forum. Some thought of it as a spiraling tower, but I interpreted it as a spiral staircase, which inspired me to go for a "Stairway to Heaven" theme. I used the fluted column stitch to represent a tree with the box stitches resembling the colors of the sky as they lead up to the golden split key ring, which represents a holy halo.

From Legacy_Lanyards:
This lanyard begins as a wall stitch (the start of the bear’s head) followed by its two ears that get attached. Then, to create the transition into a fish effect, there was a reduction of stands to form a combo of stitches. It goes from a super twist → corkscrew → twist → barrel. Lastly, the addition of beads and the remaining stands enable the fish tail look. We hope that you and our amazing fellow lanyard participants love this outrageous creation!

From William:
“The thickest portion (at the top near the key ring) is a new 7-pointed star stitch I created, and throughout the project there is a variety of techniques including a stitch going through a hole created by another stitch, suspended strands, irregularly shaped stitches, etc. There are at least 13 different types of stitches all combined into one project and I picked the most interesting colors I had. I hope you like it!”
